Tonka Skippers (#8, 12-2) travel to St Michael Albertville and Braham
With the conference schedule starting Friday January 27 (at #3 Wayzata), the Skippers take their 12-2 record on the road for games Tuesday January 17 (at St Micheal Albertville) and Friday January 20 (at #4-2A Braham), then a home game Tuesday January 24 vs #10 Osseo, at 7pm at MHS.
Ranked #7 (4A); next game at home, Friday Jan 6, 7:00 pm
The Skippers traveled to the St. Olaf Invitational over break for some holiday basketball action. They defeated Eagan 57-52, Mayer Lutheran 64-45, and Eastview 41-36 for the championship. Eighth grader Courtney Fredrickson earned a spot on the All Tournament team, while junior Joanna Hedstrom was named tournament MVP. The Skippers close out the first half of their season 10-1. Friday January 6th vs Buffalo is Youth Night and we hope to fill the gym!
