Basketball Options for Girls in Grades 1-8
All Minnetonka girls wishing to play basketball have 2 options they can participate in, recreational basketball or travel basketball.
Girls Travel Basketball -Grades 4-8
The Minnetonka Girls Traveling Basketball Program is sponsored by the Minnetonka Girls Basketball Association (formerly known as "Tonka Buckets"). Consider joining this fun activity to make friends and play competitive basketball. Girls practice twice weekly (90 min) and participate in 8-10 weekend tournaments October through March.
Girls Recreational Basketball -Grades 1-8
Rec basketball is sponsored by Minnetonka Community Ed and is open to girls in grades 1-8. The season runs from November through early March and teams typically practice one hour per week and have one game per weekend. More information at www.minnetonkacommunityed.org
