Pure Shooting Clinic

Minnetonka Girls Basketball Players going into Grades 4 through 8

A basketball clinic dedicated to shooting form that will improve your shooting immediately.  You’ll learn about the shooting pocket, lining up your shooting arm and leg, position of your hands on the ball, using your legs and knees during the shot, and more.

These clinics will improve your free throws, jump shots, layups and even three-pointers.

MGBA (Buckets Club) has asked MHS Girls Basketball Coach Leah Dasovich and her staff to lead these dedicated shooting clinics for Minnetonka girls basketball players going in to grades 4 through 8.  You’ll get dedicated personal attention:  maximum of 5 players per instructor.  Girls will be spending most of the time SHOOTING and getting instruction and building muscle memory.

When:  Three 1.5 hour sessions.  Hopefully girls can come to all clinic dates, but it’s ok to miss one.  Between clinic dates, girls will be asked to practice on their own to accelerate their skill development.

• Thursdays:  August 7, 14, 21

6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Where:  MHS East Gym

Cost: $ 50 per player for all three sessions.  Sorry no credits for missed dates.   (Scholarships available, email president@tonkabuckets.org)
